The Trump administration, specifically Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the new direction of border czar Tom “The Hammer” Homan, is still not wasting any time. On Thursday, Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin took to X to give us a look at his exclusive coverage of ICE rounding up illegal alien criminals, including MS-13 gang members, in Boston.

EXCLUSIVE: We were given exclusive access to ICE’s elite Boston team as they went into sanctuary jurisdictions and targeted the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens, including a combative Haitian man who said he won’t go back & screamed “F**k Trump, Biden forever!”. Other targets arrested included a MS-13 gang member with an Interpol Red Notice for aggravated murder, another MS-13 gang member facing gun charges, and multiple rape & sexual assault suspects, several of whom had been released from sanctuary jurisdictions with ICE detainers ignored.
One of the MS-13 suspects had just been released by a sanctuary jurisdiction the day before our embed. When ICE found him – he was with another man who ICE determined is also in the U.S. illegally. ICE arrested him and will seek to deport him, telling me he never would have been caught up if the MS-13 suspect would have been handed to them at jail. This is “collateral”, and Tom Homan warns sanctuary cities will see more of it.

Hint: The Haitian man who said he won’t go back is going back. So are all the others. It’s a new day, and illegal alien criminals are being hauled off the streets in carload lots.

Note that there is already what Tom Homan calls “by-catch” documented here in the Boston operation: One of the suspects was with another illegal alien, who has now been arrested and will be deported. Had the local jurisdiction cooperated with ICE and allowed the MS-13 gang member to be picked up at the local lockup, the other illegal alien may have escaped notice — for a while. It’s unknown as of this writing whether the man we can describe as “by-catch” was an MS-13 member or had committed any crimes other than illegal entry, but now that person is going back regardless.
This is the third day.
So far, none of the resistance from sanctuary jurisdiction officials has materialized. Border czar Homan has noted that he can and will arrest any such officials for interfering with the legal duties of federal officers, and perhaps that warning has sunken in; Boston is such a jurisdiction, and there are as yet no reports of local authorities seeking to impair ICE, although, as noted, they are apparently not yet allowing ICE agents to remove illegals directly from the local lockups.
