We’re not yet two weeks into the second Trump presidency, and boy what a difference those few days have made. One of the things, though, that has become very apparent very quickly, even during the campaign, is what a great choice President Trump made in his vice president, JD Vance. The guy is a star; I expect that we’ll see him behind the Resolute Desk one day, too.

But then, these days, it’s Republicans, not Democrats, that have the rising stars. JD Vance isn’t the only one.

While the Democrats are placing all their hopes and dreams behind nitwits like David Hogg, JD Vance is showing his chops by going on Fox News with host Maria Bartiromo and ripping Democrat Hakeem Jeffries a new one.
🔥Holy Smokes: JD Vance just methodically scorched Hakeem Jeffries and his “Fight in the Streets” rhetoric:
“These people remind me sometimes of the folks that were still fighting World War Two in an isolated island like 30 years later.”
He is good at this:

The Vice President said:
(Democrats) …remind me sometimes of the folks that were still fighting World War 2 on an isolated island like 30 years later. The American people have spoken. They are sick of the ridiculous performative politics, they want Americans, their leadership, Democrats and Republicans, to come together and actually get some things done.
You don’t have to agree with us on everything, of course if you’re a Democrat you’re going to vote a lot against what we’re trying to do, but for Hakeem Jeffries to go out and say that you need to fight in the streets, it’s dangerous, it’s disgraceful rhetoric, and it’s not at all what the American people asked.
I think if you went to Hakeem Jeffries’ district, and took the people that voted against President Trump, not the people that voted for him, the people that voted against President Trump, “Do you want a Congressional Democratic leadership that fights in the streets or that makes your life better,” most people think the government exists to make their life better, not show up on TV, criticize the president, and not actually get anything done.

This isn’t the first time Democrats have made de facto threats of unrest in the streets. In fact, it seems annoyingly common.
Don’t forget Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch put out a call for violence in 2017. It got so bad that a lunatic leftist open fire on the Republican baseball practice.

Maxine Waters told her supporters to get physical with supporters of President Trump.
It was only a matter of time until her words resulted in real actions.
Democrats need to condemn this violent speech from their own.
Unfortunately they won’t.pic.twitter.com/d8jB9mYPlA

And on the other hand, we have JD Vance calling for people to denounce this rhetoric and work together – while the Democrats are, for the most part, just not interested.
Why does this always seem to be the fall-back position for the left? You can count on the fingers of one hand the actual incidents of “right-wing violence” or “right-wing terrorism” in the United States during the four years of the Biden administration, but President Trump hasn’t yet been in office for two weeks and Hakeem Jeffries is already advocating for Democrats to take to the streets.
And, yes, I know that after the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, then-candidate Trump famously shouted “Fight! Fight! Fight!” to the crowd. That was rhetorical; he has not made a call for Republicans to take to the streets.

Democrats are going to keep making these statements, and JD Vance may well have a point – it may keep costing them elections. Between that and the clown show that was the recent Democratic National Committee elections, it seems they are determined to keep on losing.
