WATCH: Senator Colton Moore, Who Exposed Fani Willis, Knocked Down and Arrested in Georgia Capitol

An unbelievable scene unfolded at the Georgia Capitol on Thursday, and all of it was captured on video.

North Georgia Senator Colton Moore was knocked down and arrested for attempting to enter the House chamber in the Georgia state capitol. Moore was banned from the chamber after comments were made about House Speaker David Ralston

Moore referred to Ralston as “one of the most corrupt Georgia leaders that we are ever going to see in my lifetime,” as senators were considering a resolution to name a building at the University of North Georgia after him. Moore said this as Ralston’s family was present, watching from the Senate balcony. This caused Ralston’s successor, Republican House Speaker Jon Burns of Newington, to denounce Moore’s words and have him barred from entering the House.

Moore said Burns’ order was illegal, and posted on X a letter he sent to the Speaker saying he would be present in the House the next day and that his order to bar him from entering was illegal.

“Under Article III, Section 4, Paragraph I of the Georgia Constitution, we are in an obligatory legislative session. Any conduct by any Speaker, official, or state employee that is in conflict with our state constitution, due to the supremacy doctrine, is without force, invalid.

True to his word, Moore attempted to gain entry to the House floor but was barred by security officials. One man pushed him down to the floor. Once on his feet, he was told by another man that things have gone too far, to which Moore agreed.

“It has gone too far,” said Moore. “I have an obligation to be in that room. I represent 200,000 people in northwest Georgia who duly elected me to be here today.”

Troopers soon surrounded him and despite him telling them he was allowed in, they arrested him and took him to Fulton County Jail, which you’ll remember was the same jail they took Donald Trump to. As Moore’s team noted in their X post showing the incident, they are currently working to get Moore released.

You may recall Moore as the man who sparked the investigation of Fani Willis, the corrupt Fulton County DA who went after Trump. Moore was suspended from the GOP caucus indefinitely after the caucus said his call for the investigation “knowingly misled people across Georgia and our nation, causing unnecessary tension and hostility, while putting his Caucus colleagues and their families at risk of personal harm.”

Moore had called Republicans who weren’t onboard with investigating Willis “RINOs” and encouraged supporters to pressure them into investigating Willis. This was apparently too much for Republicans in Georgia to tolerate.

Moore and the Georgia GOP apparently are not on friendly terms, thus resulting in them barring him from the floor during official legislative business, and his being pushed to the floor by security.
