WATCH: Yikes, Biden Appears to Fall Asleep During Summit Meeting in Africa

The Democrats shoved Joe Biden to the side to help better their chances in the election after his cognitive issues were on such brutal display for all the world to see. 

It was perfect, ironic karma that the Democratic machinations failed, President-elect Donald Trump won, and Kamala Harris lost. 

But even though they shoved him to the side in the election, he’s still occupying the Oval Office, and we’re still in deep trouble because we have someone who is just not all there allegedly at the helm. 

I recounted some of the problems he had on Tuesday during his remarks in Angola. He said, “Welcome to America,” despite being in Africa, told a bizarre story about his family, and called the country of Angola a city.  Embarrassingly, he had to be led around and helped by the Angolan president. Perhaps worst of all, he promised a billion dollars to Africa to help with disasters, even as people are still suffering from the results of Hurricane Helene, and people are freezing, having to live in tents.

But there was an even more embarrassing moment that occurred on Wednesday, as Biden appeared to fall asleep in the middle of the Lobito Corridor Trans Africa Summit.

I’m not sure how they try to spin that one; he flat-out appears to be asleep. You can even see his head nod at one point, and the leader who is speaking appears to sneak a couple of looks over at him. How embarrassing is that? What must the leaders be thinking about him? The Biden staff must be throwing silent fits seeing that. 

Biden also appeared to fall asleep at Memorial Day ceremonies, but it was even worse this time.

To be fair, Biden’s been asleep at the switch in so many ways figuratively, so it’s probably only logical that he would also include being literally asleep. This is the guy with the nuclear codes who they told us was as “sharp as a tack.” This is the guy they were trying to sell us on for another four years. He can’t even make it through the meeting without nodding off. And the Democrats don’t care. They don’t care about how much this may have — and may still be — endangering us. 

Hopefully, nothing important happens between now and Jan. 20, or we could be in deep trouble. Who’s running the country? You know that all the bad actors have to be considering things since they know their window is closing with strong leadership coming in. This is a potentially dangerous time.
