‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING?’: Michael Moore Pens Scathing Open Letter to Biden About Leading US Into WW III

In this episode of “Pigs Take Flight”…

Our improbable story begins with über-left-wing independent filmmaker Michael Moore writing an open letter to lame-duck president Joe Biden, whose miserable presidency is approaching its well-deserved end, which President Ronald Reagan might have said belongs on the ash heap of history. 

But Biden being Biden, the cognitively vacant 82-year-old appears to be hellbent on going out with a bang (pun intended), which is where Moore’s scathing open letter, titled “Biden Going Out With a Bang,” begins (emphasis mine). 

Dear Joe,

What have you been doing? I saw you went into the Rain Forest. That looked cool. I loved how at the end you just turned and walked into the jungle, as if never to seen again. All presidencies should end this way. 

A little over a month ago, I sent you a nice letter with some suggestions on how you could use the rest of your time as President of the United States of America. Things like canceling student debt once and for all, closing Guantanamo, freeing Cuba, freeing Leonard Peltier and pardoning Snowden and doing other good deeds. Instead of doing any of these, you have done none of them. 

Interesting. And scolding.

First, I had no idea Moore was an advisor to Biden, as if even Joe needs to pay his silly nonsense any heed. While Biden has all but ignored Supreme Court rulings against “forgiving” (transferring contractual debt from those who promised to pay it back to America’s taxpayers) student debt, his lawyers are surely aware that attempting blanket “forgiveness” would be dead in the water.

Left-wingers have long harped about closing Guantanamo, as if it’s some sort of prize for them. Peltier is a Native American activist and a member of the American Indian Movement (AIM) who was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of two FBI agents in the 1975 shooting on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Edward Snowden is an American former NSA intelligence contractor and whistleblower who leaked classified documents revealing the existence of global surveillance programs. He became a naturalized Russian citizen in 2022.

So Moore’s recommendations to Biden combine to look like a veritable Christmas wish list for radical leftists — which is exactly what the marginally successful filmmaker is.

Moore, obviously somewhere between disheartened, frustrated, and ticked off, continued.

In fact, if I’m reading the news right, you’re going in the opposite direction. … You seem to be trying to trying to cement your legacy as a war monger [sic] — doubling down on some of your worst mistakes and worst impulses. 

So I’ll ask again, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? (This bolded font was Moore’s.)

Donald Trump just won the election. In two months, you’ll hand him the keys to White House and the PIN number for the alarm system. And you will be out of time.

Instead of using your precious little time left to do something to HELP THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, your first action after Trump won was to fast-track over $6 billion in weapons to Ukraine. Then you called up Zelensky gave him the green light to start firing long-range ballistic missiles into a country with a massive amount of nuclear weapons, Russia. Then, as if that weren’t enough carnage for one week, you authorized the use of antipersonnel land mines in Russia.

OK so most of that last paragraph was the “flying pigs” part. 

Not that Moore came across like a dyed-in-the-wool conservative, but who among us (conservatives) doesn’t agree that Biden’s seemingly intentional and reckless escalation of the war against Russia doesn’t push us ever closer to WW III?

Moore then went full-metal scold.

LAND MINES, Joe? Seriously? THIS is your legacy? This is how you want to go out? In a blaze of horror? Like, if Joe’s gotta go out, we all go with him … right into WW III? 

You go, Michael! 

It blows my mind to think that I’d ever think that — much less write it for publication. If that isn’t pigs flying, I don’t know what is.

Moore continued to scold Biden on land mines before launching into a plethora of worn-out, far-left nonsense about arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for “war crimes,” the Equal Rights Amendment for women, and total amnesty for leftists convicted or charged with crimes against the United States et al.

Moore’s close was awesome — as in hilarious.

So Joe, I’m telling you for the last time: JUST DO IT.

 Again, the bolded font was Moore’s.

I think I’ll just leave this one right here. For now.
