One of the most successful weapons of the left, along with their cohorts in the corrupt media, is to redefine the meanings of everyday words or just change the term altogether. Abortion and the termination of viable pregnancies constitute “reproductive health care.” “Women” are anything and everything you decide they are. The homeless are the “unhoused,” or recently and more and more ridiculously “people experiencing homelessness.”

Some of the more idiotic attempts—like “LatinX” and “birthing people”—have mostly gone down in flames because they’re just so idiotic that even some progressives shy away from them, but others are, like renaming kids’ taking hormones and getting life-altering unnecessary surgeries “gender-affirming care.”
It’s disgusting, but all too often, it works.
When it comes to illegal immigration, however, the new Trump administration appears to be having none of it and is wiping out the thankfully departed Biden team’s corruption of our language. No more of this “undocumented” BS – they’re illegal aliens:
The term “illegal alien” is official government terminology again, after the new acting head of the Department of Homeland Security scrapped “confusing” euphemisms like “undocumented noncitizen” and “integration”.
Words like “alien” were banned, and politically correct language was mandated by the Biden administration as it presided over an unprecedented surge of illegal border crossings.
But acting DHS secretary Benjamine C. Huffman has wasted no time overturning the Orwellian edict of his predecessor Alejandro Mayorkas and has reinstated precise terminology, as defined in immigration law.
Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis seems to have caught wind of the change because on Thursday, he smacked down a reporter who tried to slip in some woke language instead of the correct legal terms.

That is pretty much a gold-level response, laying out the ludicrousness of changing the names of things, thinking it will somehow change the underlying issues. The problem isn’t that people can’t seem to locate their documents; it’s that Biden & Co. purposefully allowed tens of millions of illegal aliens to waltz into our country, and it’s now a dangerous situation on so many levels—economically and in regards to national security, most importantly.
The Trump Administration has revived the proper terminology for those illegally crossing the border into America. “Noncitizens” are now “aliens,” and those who come here illegally are not “undocumented,” they are “illegal aliens.”

“It is not the role of the Department or its components to substitute alternative politically charged terminology in our official documents for terminology used by Congress in statutes signed by the President of the United States,” he wrote in a directive to all DHS offices Thursday (today).
“The Department and all components shall adhere to statutory language, which is precise and defined by Congress. For example, the term “alien” is defined at section 101(a)(3) of the Immigration and Nationality Act as: ‘The term ‘alien’ means any person not a citizen or national of the United States.’”
Exactly. It is not the job of any governmental department to change words and language to fit progressive ideology. If you can’t tell the truth—using the legal definitions—how can you ever solve the problem?
