Besides being the best thing for the country, the election of Donald Trump also gave conservatives a sort of off-the-record kind of perk — being able to roll around in the abject floundering and failure of the left. It is glorious to watch and provides numerous instances of comedy gold. But keep in mind these crazed individuals are true believers in the religion of the left. While they are completely out of power, at least for the next two years, they will have nothing else to do but belch out ridiculous theories.

The folks at the online magazine “Salon” wasted no time, and pushed back against concepts like this:
Masculinity isn’t toxic. The absence thereof is toxic.
Weak men are abusive and spiteful.
Strong men are protective and loving.
Make masculinity great again.— 🇺🇸 2A Patriot 🇺🇸 🔫Gettr & Truth @RightSideRon (@RightSideRonUSA) January 3, 2025
On Monday, January 6, a national holiday for the left, which came this year just a week after the horrific terrorist attack in New Orleans that left 14 people dead, Salon published an essay that compared the MAGA movement to ISIS. Their reasoning: men are drawn to both groups because of…toxic masculinity. The essay compared “so-called incels who commit mass shootings” to “Trump fans who attack government buildings” and “terrorists imbibing ISIS propaganda.” The comparison went on to conclude that “toxic masculinity” was responsible for the radicalization of members of both groups. By the way, gold star for the mental gymnastics required to get that January 6 reference in there. Here is just a bit of the “analysis” behind this conclusion.
“Rather than taking responsibility for their personal failures and striving to do better, men of all stripes turn to the internet, where they’re greeted by a sea of influencers, ready to tell them that it’s other people — women, people of different races or religions, the ‘woke mob’ — that is to blame.”

I believe radical Islam is a danger to civilized society.

The essay’s study group: the lives of New Orleans shooter Shamsud Din-Jabbar and Las Vegas Cyber Truck bomber Matthew Livelsberger, an active duty member of the military. Jabbar claimed allegiance to ISIS, while Livelsberger allegedly penned a manifesto where he encouraged MAGA supporters to “Try peaceful means first, but be prepared to fight to get the Dems out of the fed government and military by any means necessary.”
While the internet may be where both of these guys got their start, that is where the similarity between the two abruptly ends. When Shamsud Din-Jabbar started his internet search, he was told he was duty-bound to help establish Islamic states, participate in Jihad, and expand Islamic states, whether it be by military, paramilitary, or terrorist means. He was also told that he is required to establish Sharia law, which includes all the greatest hits, such as the treatment of women, beheadings, stonings, etc., that he is told is a duty given to him by God that cannot be changed.

As a supporter of the MAGA movement, the media’s not-so-secret code-speak for “Trump supporter,” Matthew Livelsberger would have believed in what attendees at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally said they believe in when they were asked, “What does MAGA mean to you?” One person said, “MAGA is basically making America a better place to live for everyone.” One woman said, “According to our fundamental values set forth in the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution,” and another said, “Making America great again means a good life for everyone.” Hmmm, doesn’t really sound like radical Islam.
As a member of the United States military, Livelsberger would have learned about things like duty, respect, and honor. That would not just mean in his professional life as a soldier, but also as a man. Respecting, honoring, and taking care of himself and his family. Sort of a far cry from the treatment of women that Sharia Law lays out.
In the end, it is just another pathetic excuse for the left to attempt to equate what most people believe are traditional American values, no matter who you are, to a broad definition of “extremism.” However, these are the same people who compare Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler and January 6, 2021, to the Holocaust. And as for toxic masculinity, Americans voted overwhelmingly for a healthy dose of it on November 5.

This is a good man. This is positive masculinity. This is a protector and a nurturer. Men like this should be encouraged and praised, not shamed for “toxic masculinity.” https://t.co/EgU4mAYdcs
