Looks like another part of the lawfare against former President Donald Trump is going up in flames.
As we reported, the government admitted to to misleading the Court that the documents had been let untouched since its seizure last year. “The Government acknowledges that this is inconsistent with what Government counsel previously understood and represented to the Court,” they acknowledged.

That set off a firestorm, and now Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, has announced they’ve investigating Smith after Smith’s acknowledgement that some of the evidence in President Trump’s classified documents case “was altered or manipulated after it was seized by the FBI in its raid on Mar-a-Lago.”

Jordan appeared on Sean Hannity’s show and Hannity noted how the documents were no longer in the same order as when they were seized and asked if the evidence has now been tainted is now “front and center” in the case.
Jordan said, “The order of the documents was changed. Most people would call that tampering with evidence. The physical documents didn’t match up with the scanned documents. And the irony is, this is Jack Smith mishandling the very documents he’s charging President Trump with mishandling… That to me is the ultimate irony here.”

“Not to mention the double standard,” Jordan went on, noting the Special Counsel Robert Hur said in his investigation of Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents, that he met the “elements of the crime” but didn’t charge him because he was “a forgetful old man.” He also note that Biden had an eight million dollar motive in his book, as Hur pointed out.
They then ripped into some of the other conflicts in some of the other lawfare against Trump. Jordan said that the American public is seeing through it all, noting a new poll from Rasmussen that has Trump up over Biden by ten points as well as showing that Trump was up with women by 11 points. As I said, that might be an outlier, we’ll have to see as things go forward, but if that’s close to being true, Biden could be toast and all the lawfare may have just backfired on the Democrats.
Jordan said that they would be demanding answers from Smith on this information. They have to start holding these characters accountable. Jordan is also looking into Fulton County District Attorney Wilis’ actions in regard to alleged misuse of funds.
