#1 – NYC Man Convicted Over Gunsmithing Hobby After Judge Says 2nd Amendment ‘Doesn’t Exist in This Courtroom’ — by Jeff Charles

From the beginning of Taylor’s trial, it was evident that the court would be biased against the defendant, according to Varghese, who explained that two judges presided over his case before the current official, Judge Abena Darkeh, took over.

The judge disrupted Varghese’s opening statement multiple times as he tried to set the stage for Taylor’s defense. Even further, she admonished the defense to refrain from mentioning the Second Amendment during the trial. Varghese told RedState:

She told us, ‘Do not bring the Second Amendment into this courtroom. It doesn’t exist here. So you can’t argue Second Amendment. This is New York.’

#2 – DA Finally Reveals Underlying Crime Trump Allegedly Committed, and the Bidens Should be Nervous — by Jennifer Van Laar

There are a few legal problems with the prosecution’s theory. First, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) are not illegal, and the underlying statute says that there has to be a conspiracy “to promote or prevent the election…by unlawful means.”

Consider the case of Kristina Raevsky, a 14-year-old from Queens. The eighth-grader has a lot to be proud of: Per the New York Post, she’s “published four books” and won trophies for debating. Her attendance record is perfect. And where grade point average is concerned, Kristina’s killing it — she boasts an immaculate 100.

Amid her pursuit of excellence, the youngster has harbored a dream: to go to Flushing’s Townsend Harris High School. But in 2024, accomplishment alone won’t cut it. Identity is king, and New York kneels before the throne.

#4 – Rep. Pramila Jayapal Accidentally Reveals True Motive Behind Trump Impeachments — by Jeff Charles

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) on Saturday inadvertently admitted what all of those impeachment attempts against former President Donald Trump were really about. Of course, she didn’t say anything people didn’t already know, but it was an admission nonetheless.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Weekend,” the lawmaker discussed the upcoming presidential election and lamented the fact that the Senate never went through with impeachment proceedings against the former president. She alluded to the reality that if he had been convicted in the upper chamber, he would not have been able to seek the presidency again.

#5 – WATCH: Dollar General Employee Confronted for ‘Misgendering,’ and His Reaction Is Solid Gold — by Bonchie

That Dollar General employee has the patience of a saint. He’s being screamed at by some lunatic who denies biological reality and demands others affirm his delusions. Instead of getting mad at the camera being stuck in his face, though, the employee laughs it off and says that the guy was actually mad that his credit card was declined. That just made the trans-identifying person more apoplectic.

Toward the end of the video, you can hear the trans-identifying person mocking the employee and saying he’s going to lose his job. Whether he did or not hasn’t been revealed yet, but let me offer this word of advice to Dollar General: Don’t.
